Anantara Hotels makes Malaysian debut

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has made its debut in Malaysia with the launch of the striking Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas. Located along a pristine 17-kilometre beachfront in Johor Darul Ta’zim facing the South China Sea, this new high-end resort offers a range of luxury accommodation nestled in lush tropical gardens.

Guests can take their pick from 90 en-suite rooms set in traditional Malay-style buildings overlooking the gardens, lagoon and ocean, furnished with local materials and fabrics, including traditional Malaysian wicker.

Dining options include an alfresco meal of grilled seafood or steaks at the beachside Sea.Fire.Salt. restaurant or delicious Malaysian curries and Thai dishes at The Turmeric. Meanwhile the golf courses at The Els Club Desaru Coast and the signature Anantara Spa within the resort ensure that afternoons are well spent.
