Checking In: Gran Hotel Bristol
Set in the very heart of Havana, just steps away from the National Capitol Building, is the Gran Hotel Bristol, the latest offering from Kempinski Hotels and its third luxury property in Cuba.
Taking inspiration from the Art Deco style of the 1930s, this boutique property features a historical façade with 162 stylish guest rooms appointed with bold fabrics and colourways plus contemporary furnishings.
This vibrant urban retreat is also a centre of culinary excellence with four unique dining experiences for guests in search of fine food and great entertainment. Guests can start their day starting out at the National Capitol Building views over breakfast at El Capitolio’s rooftop terrace.
A light lunch of Latin tapas can be enjoyed at El Diamante restaurant and bar and as dusk falls, Pasos Perdidos lobby bar with its cocktail menu proves most inviting. The following morning, guests can take a dip in the rooftop pool or make the most of the on-site gym, hairdressers and nail bar. Meeting professionals will also notice the mezzanine floor, with its function room for intimate gatherings and presentations.
This latest opening is part of Kempinski’s ongoing global expansion. Read our recent interview with the group’s CEO Martin Smura to find out more.
Gran Hotel Bristol is located just two blocks from sister property Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski, La Habana, which is attending inVOYAGE 2020 this October alongside a group representative for Kempinski Hotels.
