F1 & The Luxury Incentives Industry

discover How event planners can piggyback off formula 1 to create incredible events in cities around the world

Renowned for its high stakes drama, grandiose backdrops and cutting-edge technology, the world of Formula 1 racing has always stood out in the tapestry of motorsport as the most prestigious. With that prestige comes a lucrative price tag for all involved. The teams, the drivers, the host cities - and, of course, the fans. This means that for 20 weekends a year, this adrenaline-fueled spectacle attracts the most elegant, well-to-do spectators from all realms of the zeitgeist - be that film & TV, music, politics, sport, fashion or business. With this audience, comes a plethora of brands, sponsors and partnerships that make Formula 1 one of the most enticing and high-end sporting events in the calendar (perhaps only bettered by the World Cup, Superbowl and UEFA Champions League Final).

For event planners, Formula 1 race weekends present a unique opportunity to piggyback off the fanfare of these global events to enhance their own plans and imbue them with elements adopted from the F1 - be that the location, the lifestyle, or the race itself.

MONACO

A principality with a storied past in F1. The ‘Crown Jewel’ of the F1 season for many reasons will offer a unique experience to F1 fanatics or the most uninterested and uneducated in the motorsport realm. Renowned globally for its wealth and considered by many to be one of the most prestigious races on the calendar, this street circuit takes drivers and viewers of the race around the tight corners of Monte Carlo and along the harbour adorned with yachts. Outside of the race weekend, Monaco offers an abundance of activities and incentive ideas that would dazzle the most experienced of travellers.
