inMykonos Review - buyers and partners share their experiences
Want the inside scoop on what it was like to attend inVOYAGE in Mykonos? We asked some of our luxury buyers and travel partners to share their experience and personal highlights…

Director/Founder, Red Blaze Limited
“It was both a joy and a delight to board an aircraft once again and to have the opportunity to meet with industry colleagues from around the globe. I have never visited Mykonos, but this was a journey home. I have never stayed at any of the fabulous Myconian Collection properties, but the welcome I received was that of a long lost relative. Warm, generous and authentic.
What has always set inVOYAGE apart has been not only the quality of the suppliers attending but also the quality of my fellow agency buyers. This was coming home.
The ability to spend quality time discussing the issues of our day with fellow event professionals from the around the globe has been, after the traumas of the last 18 months, a pure joy.
Enthusiastic, inspiring, creative and always superbly professional, inVOYAGE attendees are amongst the brightest in our industry. I have missed being around these fantastic individuals.
Nothing beats a shared experience, whether it is a high-quality meeting, good food, engaging entertainment and activities and the quality and nuances of in person interaction.
Attending inVOYAGE in Mykonos has been like coming home.”

“inVOYAGE was my first live event since the world halted, and it felt amazing being back in person again. I believe this feeling was shared by everyone, as there was a real buzz and enthusiasm that radiated throughout the event.
Mykonos as a destination is stunning and just being there was a highlight in itself. My meetings were very high quality, and it was great to be able to connect with luxury buyers and discuss the future of the industry in such a positive light. I look forward to many new partnerships being created from this event.
The evenings provided a great platform for networking, whilst enjoying a mixture of authentic Greek experiences and other memorable acts. It’s hard to pick the best bits but if I’m honest, I’d have to say plate smashing (because, whilst in Greece!). I also loved the closing pool party, from the violinists and fire dancer to the fireworks finale – which literally ended the show with a bang.
Thank you to the team whose organisation and attention to detail produced a truly fantastic event.”

“Normally I try to make sure that when travelling I'm in and out of the event as quickly and efficiently as possible. This time aided by the flight connection and the fact that it was Mykonos I decided to include a bit of Me time.
I arrived early on Sunday lunchtime and had the opportunity to check out the hotel I was staying in as well as some others in the Myconian collection. It was a beautiful day and I even managed to get a 20-minute jet ski ride in.
InVOYAGE was as good as expected if not better. People were at first a bit hesitant which later transformed into the excitement of meeting up again and having a clear feeling that our industry is back.
All the meetings I had were positive and the way the programme was planned was very conducive to building relationships which is what it is all about for me.
Looking forward to the next one!”

“Getting back to live events is simply fantastic. It makes you realise what we, and our clients have missed, that face-to-face interaction and how it is so superior to virtual. Virtual will have a its place in the future but face to face is different
Travelling is fine, I’ve been on five planes in the last week and once you’ve mastered filling in a Passenger Locator Form, the rest is okay. Our hosts at Myconian were fantastic, the hospitality was superb, and their resorts are well worth looking at for incentive and conference groups.
It was my first time to Mykonos, and I was impressed with the quality of venues, the uniqueness of Mykonos Town and range activities available. The island as a whole has a great laid-back feel.
The highlight for me was to reconnect after 18 long months. This was with both with fellow agencies but also venues and DMCs. We aren’t fully out of the woods, and we need to keep working with clients to build their confidence to get back to live events. This will happen and the more people travel and start to go the live events again the quicker the full recovery. “
