Experience this… aquarium dining in Bali

Guests at the new Koral restaurant at Apurva Kempinski Bali are set to be treated to an underwater delight as they experience aquarium-style dining designed to bring the flavours of the Indonesian coast to life.

Inside, the recently opened bistro-style eatery features elegant monochrome tiles, teak wood ceilings and the traditional red clay bricks symbolic with theMajapahit empire with views through the aquarium windows and the glass-roofed tunnel looking out on to the tropical fish.

With a soundtrack designed to evoke the mystery of life beneath the waves, Koral is set to become a destination restaurant in Nusa Dua in its own right and will serve a menu based on the rich abundance of local seafood.

Guests can start with ‘Lump Blue Crab’ salad served with zingy  apple, crisp jicama and aromatic lemon basil and ginger and indulge in the locally inspired ‘Prawn & Lime’, which includes stuffed jumbo prawns with spicy dabu-dabu salsa, silky potato gnocci and spicy tomato and chili sauce.

Even the drinks have a sea theme, with a live cocktail station where mixologists make the Koral signature ‘Spiced Ink Mojito’ made with spiced rum and squid ink mint syrup.
